Abstract

|
Neumfibromatosis is a systemic hereditary disorder with varied manifestation in skin, nervous system, bone and soft tissue etc,
It was described firstly by von Recklinghausen. in 1882, and occasionally associated with some anomalies of skeletal system, gastrointestinal system and endocrine system, such as scoliosis, defect of orbital wall, pheochromocytoma and thyroid medullary carcinoma. Rarely, this tumor become malignant changes, such as f ibrosarcoma, astrocytoma, glioblas - toma and meningioma. Neurofibromatosis associated with basal cell carcinoma is very rare.
Authors have experienced one case of neurofibromatosis associated with basal cell carcinoma, and got satisfactory results using surgical excision.
